Here are some gameplay videos (played by me and recorded) the new Gradius game that was just downloaded to the Japanese Wii systems available via WiiWare today. Stages 1 and 2 show, plus the intro sequence. Overall, I am presented with the type of game out, is satisfied. I have one or two small gripes (why is there slowdown just before the first boss? Pretty inexcusable considering the hardware the game is running. The Vic Viper feels much too slow, but many speed ups you usuallyGradius games, you need an extra high on the right feel for this game), but nothing major. The game is very funny and the extreme difficulty in Gradius 3 and 4 not shown up so far.
